Ryan Klaus

Senior Project Officer

Ryan joined the NJEDA full-time in June 2023 after interning with the agency throughout graduate school. In his full-time and intern work experience with the NJEDA, Ryan has contributed to the development of several different NJEDA climate initiatives, including the New Jersey Clean Energy Loans (NJ CELs) program, the Garden State Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program, and the New Jersey Green Bank.

Ryan previously worked at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, where he assessed the financial viability and potential impact of the organization’s new strategic initiatives. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and focused on the intersection of green banks, economic development, and environmental justice as a student in Princeton’s Master in Public Affairs (MPA) program.
